Case Study – Aston Villa FC
We were commissioned to design and produce a striking centerpiece for the grand opening of Aston Villa’s new club shop, drawing inspiration from the club’s iconic logo.
The result was a monumental lion sculpture, crafted from a variety of materials and finished with a textured coating to replicate the look and feel of real bricks. Our team used specialist scenic painting techniques to faithfully recreate the distinctive bricks of the Aston Villa stadium, achieving a finish that met the client’s exact specifications.
Adding a personal touch, several bricks were inscribed with the names of past managers and players, creating a meaningful tribute and an ideal backdrop for fan selfies.
To elevate the experience further, the sculpture features a projection system that displays dynamic footage and graphics onto the lion, captivating fans, including some high-profile supporters, and making it a resounding success.
